A January To-Do List for Authors, Part IV

To-Do List for AuthorsWriters and Authors-

As promised, here is your third to-do for January.

Write down your book business goals for 2011.

Especially if you are an independently published author, the book sales side of writing is a business and it’s best to have a comprehensive plan about where you’re heading that business. If you don’t have an annual plan, you won’t know what your goals are or how you might reach them.

You want your goals to be a stretch, but not unattainable. It’s okay to have maintenance goals too–activities that you started in a previous year that worked and that you want to continue.

Here are some of my business goals for 2011.
– Acquire five incoming links
– Write original blog posts three times a week
